my story
I got my first car when I was 18. It was my pride! I wanted to keep it clean and as new as I could possibly keep a rusted, decade old car. So I saved up money by washing dishes so that I could take it to a car wash every week. Unfortunately every time after the wash- I noticed that while the dirt was gone, the shine was eroding as well. The clear coat was very scratched up and swirled up badly. I knew I had to do something to prevent it from getting worse. After researching, I realized that there is a lot of science and method to washing cars properly to maintain and enhance their paintwork and gloss. This car introduced me to the world of auto detailing.

I truly enjoy being around cars, and detailing them. It is a passion of mine to see how good can I get a car to look. I could live in my garage, with the cars and detailing supplies right next to each other. For me, a garage is not just a real estate space to store cars. It's a temple, a sanctuary, a palace for me. I have to thank my wife for being so patient with me on weekends and giving me the opportunity to wash both of our cars.
I wanted a space where I could document my weekend project with my cars and keep a diary of my automotive journey through life. This is why made this website- being from India, it was apt to call it the 'Detail Haveli', aka the 'Detail Palace'.
